I’m a Native Speaker of German and a certfied language teacher. I majored in Linguistics, English & DaF/DaZ at Georg-August-University Göttingen and have taught students from all over the world.

As a linguistics student I stepped into the vast and mysterious world of language and was baffeled at the variety of sounds, structures, and ideas out there. Our very modes of thinking, all aspects of everyday life are intertwined with the languages we speak.  Looking at common teaching methods, I wondered how this linguistic and cultural abundance could be done justice in a class. How knowledge from the sciences, linguistics, psychology, sociology, and vocal anatomy, could aid teaching methods. My classes are designed with a passion for detail and awareness of everyone’s differences to create a lively and fruitful discourse.
